Just thought that you’d like to know that your service/s are excellent and that i know when my ‘baby’ Molly is left in your care she is going to have a great time and knowing that I can relax and enjoy my time as well… A testament to you is that when either you collect or I deliver her to you she is only to keen to begin her hols that she can’t wait for me to go.

A very reliable, flexible and professional service is provided by Maria and her team. Getting the trust of our rescue dog can be a bit challenging but they didn’t give up and I was comfortable in the knowledge that they were confident to take him for a regular walk. The service provided has been above and beyond the call of duty on occasion (paw wiping and more.) Woofwoofmeow offer a range of other services which I would be happy to use as and when needed.

Icy ground adds danger to dog walkers

With the continuing cold and freezing weather across the UK – we cannot comment we are in Thailand where it is not so chilly – dog walkers are being urged to take care when walking their dogs. In Clitheroe, Lancashire the police are trying to ensure that dog walkers are taking care when walking near icy lakes in particular. Last month a 49 year old man died when trying to rescue his Springer Spaniel having fallen through ice into a lake, and this week a woman fell into the River Ribble when trying to resuce her dog. So if you are walking your dogs take care – or call in a professional dog walking company and we can take the risks for you!

Hooch has become a different dog since becoming part of the Woof Woof Meow Club

Since Hooch became part of the woofwoofmeow club he has become a different dog. He has much more energy and is always pleased to see the walkers from Maria’s team. In turn the walkers are always pleased to see Hooch and greet him like he is their own dog. There is no doubt that he is in good hands when he goes out for his walks.
In addition to the walking service we were lucky enough for Maria to take Hooch into her house while we were on our hols (dog sitting service), he was clearly well cared for and enjoyed his time away from home. It was a relief to know that he was in good hands and having fun while we were not here. I would recommend the services that Woofwoofmeow offer to all, we would be lost without them.

Sizzla loves Woof Woof Meow!

Sizzla loves Maria and Teresa and is always very excited to see them. Teresa even taught him to swim! Maria is always very helpful and flexible, often stepping at a moments notice when I have to rush off to an urgent meeting. I trust them implicitly and highly recommend them.

Some of our regular woofwoofmeow customers may remember Lupo – the beautiful whippet – who moved up to London with his owner. We have kind of missed him here as he spent so much time with us. According to reports two slightly overweight Scottish ladies – decided that dog walking was the way to lose weight! Here at woofwoofmeow – we could have told you that! The hours that we spend helping your pet enjoy his/her walks keeps the lard of us too. However, these two intrepid walkers managed to lose nine stone in weight between them! How far were they walking and what kind of dog were they walking? Fiona and Clair – both from Midlothian – spend 9 months to lose the weight so that they could climb the Sydney Harbour bridge. So I guess the staff here at woofwoofmeow should say thank you for letting us pet-sit and dog walk for all of our customers – you are all keeping us fit and young! Thank you!

Fines for walkers of fat dogs in Russia

At woofwoofmeow we always pride ourselves that our pack is always fit. When trapsing across North Town Moor or running through Burnham Beeches our team of dog walkers try to make the walks as exciting and as energetic as possible. Maybe someone should tell that to the inhabitants of Northern Russia – where if your dog ways over 35lbs you will be fined for walking a fat dog. And -if you are inebriated as well – watch out for the fuzz as they will slap a £1000 fine for being drunk in charge of a dog.

Closer to home we have a few strange laws too – in Tameside, Greater Manchester if your dog’s lead is more than 2 metres long – you open yourself up to police action. The reason for this – the council believes that if your dog’s lead is too long you are less likely to poop pick!!! Sounds like there is a ready made market for the woofwoofmeo poop picking service!
